E-mail service

Because e-mail has become such a matter of course you should rely on a solid service. IPHH’s e-mail service allows you to communicate securely and comfortably. Your data is in your domain on IPHH’s own redundant systems. And you can create as many mail boxes as you need.

What your benefits look like in detail:
• Access to your e-mail accounts via POP3 and IMAP (also available in the encrypted varieties of POP3S and IMAPS) and via our convenient webmail interface.

• Manage your e-mail accounts on your own
• Set and change passwords
• Administer anti-spam and anti-virus settings
• Set and remove “out of office” notifications

Other highly topical advantages: Unlike the free services available online, you don't have to worry about data protection, personal privacy or advertising.

We also offer a mail relay service: our systems accept e-mails sent to you and check them for viruses and spam. The e-mails are then filtered according to your criteria and are forwarded, for instance, to an Exchange server at your location.

Using the Smarthost service you don’t send your e-mail via your own mail server, but use IPHH’s system instead.

This means that for you, open relays (a poorly configured server accepts e-mail from anywhere and sends them onwards, even though it's not responsible for doing so) and blacklists will be a thing of the past.
